Restrictions, Age, Weight and Clothing for Paragliding

There is no maximum age limit for flying. The minimum age is 14 years old. For those under 18, a signature from a responsible adult is required on a liability waiver to be signed at the local club headquarters before going up to the take-off ramp with the instructor. The weight limit is not due to the equipment's resistance, which is oversized and supports on average up to 8 times the nominal flight weight. However, heavier passengers may not have the necessary mobility for a safe take-off. So, although weight doesn't directly influence take-off, in some cases it affects the mobility of the brief run required for take-off, especially on days with light winds. On average, paragliders take off without problems with passengers weighing up to 110kg, and on windy days, up to 120kg. If you weigh more than that, please contact us and we will analyze your case to take off in better wind conditions and assess if there are any mobility restrictions.
 
PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: People with special needs can also fulfill their dream of flying. However, each case must be analyzed individually to study the limitations and necessary adaptations/adjustments to ensure a safe flight. To find out if flying is possible for you, please contact us. It is mandatory to wear shoes that are securely fastened to your feet (sneakers or similar), and on colder days, we recommend wearing trousers that allow for movement and warm clothing. The experience of flying without engines, using equipment powered solely by nature, is paid for at a negligible price compared to the cost of the entire infrastructure. Furthermore, the thrill and safety are priceless. Recognizing that flying is a dream for many, we offer ways to help you achieve it.
All packages include passenger transportation from our meeting point to the take-off ramp. If you have companions, we will transport up to two companions per passenger in our team vehicle, or if you prefer, the companion can wait in the landing area on the premises of the local club. Access to the ramp in your own car is not recommended as it is quite steep/winding, unless the vehicle is 4x4 or has a powerful engine, requiring considerable driving skill. Payment will only be validated after landing, if the passenger enjoyed the experience with our team. If the flight is not carried out due to weather conditions or cancellation, nothing will be charged.
If payment has been made in advance and the flight is unable to take place due to unsuitable weather conditions or any other reason, the amount will be immediately refunded to the passenger, in a manner to be agreed upon with the instructor, provided that the passenger does not wish to reschedule the flight for another date.
